European Success for Loughborough Tennis Teams

It’s always a pleasure to pass on our congratulations to winning athletes we’ve been involved with, so intosport.com would like to say a huge well done to the men and women’s Loughborough University Tennis teams for their success at The European Collegiate Tennis Association (ECTA) finals held at the Gosling IHPC in November.

The Men’s team contained Josh Miller (left) and Scott Dickson (middle right)

The Men became the first ever GB team to lift the title after overcoming the defending champions from Rouen in France in a hotly contested final that finished 4-1 to the Loughborough side. The Women meanwhile were unable to complete a clean sweep of the prizes as they finished runners up to Leeds Met Carnegie in a nail biting match.

It was the third year the event had been staged having previously been dominated by other European universities. ECTA director James Pilkington said “The event was the biggest so far and a complete success”.

Amongst the winning Men’s team were Scott Dickson and Josh Miller, both of whom have demonstrated their skills for Intosport.com’s numerous online coaching resources. Listed below are some links to videos featuring them.
