Wimbledon’s here… and so is the David Lloyd Tennis School at intosport.com

Whoa, what a week and it’s only Tuesday!

Let’s start with the big news: WE’VE LAUNCHED THE DAVID LLOYD TENNIS SCHOOL AT INTOSPORT.COM! A great moment for all of the intosport.com team and we’re delighted to have had such a positive response already.

If you don’t know what it’s all about then you can register now and find out all about it. It’s absolutely free to become a member of the website and if you’re interested in learning in tennis then you should definitely check it out.

We have a couple of other big announcements up our sleeves too, but I’m going to save those for another day.

The other big news from intosport.com this week is that we were featured on BBC Radio 2. More precisely, I was interviewed by Rebecca Pike (aka Foxy) as part of the Chris Evans drivetime show. If you heard the interview and have come to the site then GREAT and welcome along! If you’ve arrived at the site via another route and want to hear the interview, then here it is:

A couple of things to follow up on our Wimbledon blog. We were really disappointed to see Laura Robson go out in the first round, especially after going a set up. Nonetheless a great effort on her part and, as always, gave a great post match interview. Lots to learn from the players comments after defeats and victories, just as it explains in the Competitive Performance section of the David Lloyd Tennis School, so always worth paying close attention if you’re looking to improve your performance in tournaments.

The other thing to say about Wimbledon is, well we’re all off to get comfortable in front of the TV for Andy Murray’s first match of 2009 at SW19!

Until next time, sign up at intosport.com and if you have any comments or feedback, we’d love to hear it.
